Celebration at Addison Grove | Austin Wedding Photographer

Every detail of Neha and Omar’s celebration at Addison Grove felt layered with intention. From the rose petals blanketing the aisle to the sun casting a golden glow during their vows, this wedding was a celebration of love, heritage, and connection. Days like this remind me over and over why I love being an Austin wedding photographer. I felt so honored to not just witness, but capture, their joyous day.

They chose to get married at Addison Grove, which is a venue just outside of Austin.

A place that perfectly held the warmth of their Hindu ceremony and the energy of their loved ones celebrating them. The towering trees, the warm open fields, and the thoughtful simplicity of the structures… all was the perfect backdrop to their gorgeous day.

Their first look and private vows were such a sweet pause before the fullness of the day began. It was a moment just for the two of them, tucked into the stillness before the music and movement.

And then—color, sound, and celebration took center stage.

The joy was palpable. The colors abundant. Hugs and laughter and ear-to-ear grins every time I turned around.

Neha told me early on how excited she was to be surrounded by her people. Some she hadn’t even met in person yet. Family came in from across the world to be there, and the sense of togetherness was so deeply felt. From the moment Omar’s baraat entrance kicked off the festivities, there was this electric energy pulsing through everything.

I got to photograph this day on film and digital. (Much like this day at Commodore Perry!) There’s something about the way film captures color and movement… it felt especially right for a day like this. The textures of Neha’s sari, the way the petals danced in the wind, the smiling children just happy to soak it all up, it all translated beautifully.

These two said “I do” in a traditional ceremony on the lawn at Addison Grove, and I loved watching each part play itself out on their way to husband and wife.

Afterward, we snuck away for newlywed portraits, where Neha and Omar were simply glowing in the golden hour light over the Texas Hill Country. Talk about dreamy.

For the reception, the highlight for me was the dance floor. I don’t think there was a single moment it wasn’t packed. Neha and Omar’s people came ready to celebrate, and celebrate they did—well into the night, with all the joy and none of the holding back.

I walked away from this wedding with so much gratitude—for the art I get to make, and the love stories I get to witness. Neha and Omar, thank you for inviting me into such a beautiful celebration at Addison Grove. Your wedding was radiant in every way.
