Commodore Perry Estate | Austin Wedding Photographer
Jacqueline and Garrett’s wedding at Commodore Perry Estate felt like stepping into a dream! Even though we were right in the middle of Texas, it felt like we had been transported to an Italian villa during Summertime. In a word: magical.
Every detail of the day was curated with intention and soul. From the artful modern florals to all those little moments shared between friends and family. It was a day to remember. I felt so honored to be their Austin wedding photographer, there to capture it all. I got to break out my film cameras too, and that was really fun to document this particular day with that modality. It felt like it was a big piece of art, and we were all contributing. How special is that?
Jacqueline was a bride with vision and impeccable style. Talk about a joy to photograph. Thoughtful, radiant, and effortlessly chic, she knew exactly what she wanted — and with the help of a dream vendor team, she brought it all to life. Her wedding gown was originally worn by her mother. She reimagined it, and had it tailored by House of Deane. Perfectly blending legacy with modern vibes. When she stepped into the room, it kinda felt like time stilled. Her bridesmaids gasped. Garrett, too, when he saw her. It was one of those moments you feel lucky to witness.
Commodore Perry Estate, with its European charm and old-world elegance, was the perfect backdrop for this day.
Every corner of the venue felt timeless and artistic, like it was meant to hold the kind of magic that unfolded throughout the day. From the elevated garden party vibe to the show-stopping cake by The Deaux Baker adorned with blooms from Caroline James, each moment felt like a love letter to beauty and intention. As a fellow artist, I was living the dream!!
Jacqueline did a first look with her bridesmaids before heading out to their outdoor ceremony! It was on the lawn, and was drop. dead. gorgeous. Not to mention, full of love!! I don’t think there was a dry eye!
After Jacqueline and Garrett were officially newlyweds (!!!), we snuck off into the garden for some golden hour couples portraits. We even brought their pup over for a first official “Family Portrait” with their fur baby ;)
The whole aesthetic was just stunning. These two outdid themselves!
We finished the day with a garden dinner and dancing the night away with friends and family. Jacqueline changed into a second dress with a fresh hair look—something I’d never seen before and absolutely loved.
The energy shifted from classic romance to celebratory joy. A live band brought the dance floor to life, and late-night French fries kept the party going strong.
This day at the Commodore Perry Estate was more than beautiful—it was felt by all.
It was full of grace, style, and genuine kindness. Photographing Jacqueline and Garrett’s wedding was an honor I won’t soon forget. These two didn’t just plan a wedding — they created an experience. Make sure you scroll all the way through the gallery to see the full scope of their day!
